anyways...today my pooky finally came back from Davis! ^ ^ YAY!! we went to the movies today and we watched only THE most awesomest movie in the world! starring the one and only...Jay Chou XD ( love him SO much! of course i love my pooky too ) but i really recommend that you all go watch it! "Curse of the Golden Flower"! it stars ppls that you should know about o.o! Chow Yung Fat ( we should all know who he is ), Gong Li ( from the geshia movie...the "mean one" as i like to call her >.> ), Liu Ye ( from the movie "The Promise". if u look at previous entries...i've mentioned that movie ), and of course...the one and only...the awesome-ness...Jay Chou ^ ^

yesh! anyways...that's all i have to say for now... ^ ^ ooooo and the answer to the drawing is Kiera Knightly from Pirates of the Caribbean!! WOO!! soo good job if u got it right!

anyways...i changed my background images to this anime that i'm just SOO in love with! the wallpaper is the image of Yuzuyu. she's from the anime "Aishiteruze Baby" (I Love You, Baby) it's like the cutest anime i've seen! it's seriously REALLY cute! o.O my fav. character is Kokoro tho, she's so pretty! > < anyways..yesh...u should check it out. tho i have to say...not much guys like the anime cuz it's too "girlie" or "too cute" for their taste. at least i know that all the femals will like it...well..most.

so i've been doing my final..charcoal drawing of a portait and i have a painting of still life that i need to finish -.-" BAH! then i have a final on thursday...x.x need to do well! it's gunna hell this week. until it's all over. i'll take a web picture of my portait (what i drew so far) and post it up here...if u guys can guess who it is...i'll be VERY happy >.> i would give you something...but i can't really GIVE it to you all in person if u know what i mean..like a cookie or something...can't really give it to you >.>

OMG! today was just soo exciting! 5 ppls from Pixar Animation Studios came to my school to talk about their movie "Cars" and other things like what each of them do at Pixar, what types of work that they do...stuff like that. it was sooo cool. my friend and i got to talk to them ask them what we should do for our portfolio if we wanted to work there. it was just a completely awesome expeirence.

anyways...one thing that they talked about in their presentation was some hidden little things in the movie "Cars." (kinda like how Disney...in some of them have hidden Micheky Mouse things....if u didn't know...) anyways...some scenes...
in the beginning when all the cars are racing...one of the cars on the race track is an apple race car:

the scenes with the mountain views are either fronts of cars or backs of cars...

some of the clouds that are suppose to be like the smoke from the airplanes...they made the smoke line as tire tracks.
the back of the volks wagon van...he has a bumper sticker that says "save 2d animation"
in Sally's motel...in the lobby...there is a shelf behind her filled with everything/anything in cone shape. but if you look closely..there is a picture of the stone henges in cone shape and the eiffel tower.
also they also metioned out the in the race scenes hows there's thtat bollon thingy (forgot wat it's called...) but in games it would always say "Goodyear." well... in "Cars" it says "Lightyear." Pixar actually didn't want to copy Goodyear, so they went and got permission from Goodyear and they were so excited. they ended up naming their racing tires "Lightyear."
also in Luigi's tire store...where they had the white tires..those tires are called "Fettichini Alfrado" (i forget if the Alfrado is in there or not :/)

anyways...the crowd at the race car stadium...do you know how many cars are there? a good 100,000+ thats A LOT. they also mentioned how long it took for some of the scenes. a simple scene that you'll only see for about a second in the movie can take up to a month or longer. that's just insane! one of them said it's very disappointing in times when he watches it at the movies. before they can say "LOOK! THERE IT IS" it's gone. they said that this one scene where Sally and Lightening went for a drive, they both drive over this puddle of water. just that little scene took 2 weeks to complete.

anyways...working at Pixar Animation Studios is definately my dream and goal! i could talk about Pixar all day...but i wont...so i'm gunna stop blabbing
BUT! before i go...watch this clip! it's my fav. part of the movie! (i also got to meet Jay, the one that created these characters today)

well this is a quick post. but i've been a lil busy with school...as usual. seems like everything will be due right after thanksgiving. isnt that just dandy? no...not really. i have a still life painting to finish which will be due on the wednesday we come back from thanksgiving, a still life charcoal drawing due the thursday we go back, and i quiz on that friday. -.-"" jeez. wat makes it harder is...thanksgiving holiday....then my friend i believe is having a birthday party sleep over (most likely) > < i'm probably gunna have to bring my hw over there x.x

and yes...it was a real person! i ddidn't draw the face cuz i didn't have time and i didn't feel like it. haha! XD that was my first time doing figure drawing actually. never done that before (until now)
